It's now time to unpack your things so you can get settled. It does not mean that you have to finish everything in one day though. If there are so many boxes to unpack you should set a schedule for everything. You should also start from the most essential things. Good Packing Techniques The key to easier unpacking is good packing techniques. It's important that boxes are labeled so they automatically go to the rooms where they should go. This allows you to unpack in a more organized manner instead of doing it randomly. If you label the boxes that contain essential items you can unpack them first. You won't even have to rummage through many boxes if you need a specific item. Accept Help If you want to control the unpacking, you may want to do things yourself. So let others deal with the other chores in the house instead. You could also let the older children do the unpacking for their room. Set Your Schedule Again, you cannot finish everything right away. So instead of stressing over it, prioritize the things you will need most instead. Then move on to the next priority boxes and unpack items like collectibles and photos last. By doing so, you are able to take breaks when you need to. You will be well rested so you will be able to do more work the next days better too.
