Packing Wine and other Liquor the Right Way
Published on Friday, 20 November 2009

They say that the wine becomes more delicious as they age. No wonder why many wine and liquor enthusiasts are keeping their wines to preserve and enhance their already delectable taste. But now that you are about to move, you surely want to move these delicate bottles with you and you worry about that.

Worry no more if you have packed your beloved bottles of wine and liquor using the following ways:

-       Assess if your collection of wines is worth the trouble. Before you worry about your wines, assess first if it's really worth it to move the wines with you. If you have a large collection of hard-to-find wines, then better move those. But if you only have a small number of wines that are easily replaceable, then just give those away or serve those for your farewell party.

-       Select the right packing materials for the wines. The best moving box for the wines are cell boxes while the best wrap for the wine bottles is a bubble wrap. Both these can be bought from a shipping supplier or a moving company.

-       Don't forget that wine is temperature-sensitive. Ideally, wine should be kept in a place with 55 degrees Fahrenheit. You can find a moving company offering a moving van with temperature control. That way, your wines will still be safe even when your moving date is on the hottest summer day.

Now, the safety of your wines is already in your hand. By doing all these, you surely can move your wines without worrying about them so much.
